About the Project

Dyslexia is a language-based, specific learning disorder that adversely impacts reading and mathematics ability. This study will estimate the impact of state dyslexia laws. A difference-in-differences analysis will uncover the effects of reducing disparities in reading and mathematics achievement. We will then conclude with evidence-based policy recommendations to reduce educational disparities for children with dyslexia.
